“Tutored by the Lord” is an incredible real-life account of the author’s encounter with multiple personalities manifested by a young woman, and the prolonged spiritual battle that ensued for her healing and eventual deliverance. The engagement proved to be very intense, but thanks to stepby-step instructions from the Lord, the author was able to surmount the strange and sometimes terrifying events, engendered by the situation, thus giving way to the title “Tutored by the Lord” The story plays out as an adult/child phenomenon, in which Jubilee (the adult) begins exhibiting infantile regressions, and presents as Darla (the child). In that state, she re-lives, in the presence of the author, several traumatic experiences she suffered from ages 2 to 17. Both Jubilee and Darla seem to be oblivious of the existence of each other. The author becomes heavily invested spiritually, emotionally and psychologically in the ensuing events and watches in wonderment and awe, as the Lord uses the broken pieces of Jubilee’s life to create a tapestry of love, compassion and caring, as only the Master can. This is a book of tremendous inspiration to those engaged in the Counselling, Healing, and Deliverance Ministries. It is a model for those who desire to walk in obedience to the will of the Lord and to be of service to others. It is a wakeup call to all parents who must understand the significance of their roles not only as providers but importantly, as guardians of the souls of their children. It puts on display the complex psychological, emotional and physiological impact of any kind of abuse inflicted on a child Finally, it is a reminder from the Lord to all of Society that we are our brothers’ keeper. Until such time that adults desist from preying on the young to satisfy their depraved pleasures, and Society takes collective responsibility for the wellbeing of all children, we will forever be picking up humans left in fragmented pieces by abuse.
